Bishop John S Cummins Program
All About the Bishop John S. Cummins Program
This program enrolls students with significant financial need, giving them access to a Catholic, Lasallian education, the resources to achieve it, and the tools to participate fully in high school life and to prepare for college.
The Bishop John S. Cummins Program is for students who demonstrate academic potential and have a strong desire to attend De La Salle High School, but whose family income is at or below a predetermined percentage of the federal poverty level. From its very beginnings, the Lasallian educational ministry has defined itself as being rooted in service to the poor. Today, our commitment to make education accessible to those with financial need continues to be a critical part of our mission.
No separate application is required for the Bishop Cummins Program. All families who seek financial assistance must complete a FACTS application and all students who complete the FACTS Financial Aid Application are automatically considered for the Bishop Cummins Program. For complete information on how the Program works, please see the Important Information at right.
