Football: NCS Championship Game Information
Congratulations to the varsity football team as they captured the NCS Championship with their victory over California this past Saturday. They have been selected to represent Northern California in the Open Division Regional Championship this Saturday, 12/14/13. We will be competing against Folsom at 7:30 pm at the Diablo Valley College. The game will also be televised live on Comcast, please check your local listings. We would like to offer one complimentary ticket to all faculty/staff for your use. The school pays for each ticket issued so please if you are planning on attending the game please reply to me NO LATER than 8:00 AM Wednesday and we will deliver your complimentary ticket to you.

Varsity Football Games Broadcast Online, Tablet App Available for Watching Games
Once again, our games will be broadcast on Stretch Internet Radio at http://www.DeLaSalleRadio.com. Also, new this year, we have a sponsor with HS Scoreboard (http://www.hs-scoreboard.com) that has an app that will allow anyone to keep tabs on scores, not only for DLS games, but for high schools all over the state and the country. The app does cost 99¢, but proceeds will come back to support De La Salle.
(12/8/2013) - There's a new guy in charge, but very little has changed for the De La Salle High football team. The Spartans entered Saturday night's North Coast Section Division I championship game undefeated under first-year coach Justin Alumbaugh and left with a resounding 49-17 victory over California at Dublin High to secure another section trophy. 11/30/2013 - Behind dynamic quarterback Nsimba Webster, the Deer Valley High football team scored more points against the De La Salle defense than anyone this season. But it was only a moral victory for the Wolverines. De La Salle contained Deer Valley's playmakers for the most part and rode a punishing ground attack to a 57-27 victory in the North Coast Section Division I semifinals Friday. (More)
11/30/2013 - De La Salle finished 7th in the 2013 CIF State Cross Country Championships in Woodward Park, Fresno. Arcadia finished first with 59 points. De La Salle's score was 231.

11/29/2013 - Since 2003, no individual from a Bay Area high school has won the California Interscholastic Federation Division I boys cross country championship race. De La Salle High's Blair Hurlock is aiming to end that streak. (More)

DLS Parent Inducted Into the Pro Football Hall of Fame
The De La Salle community salutes one of its own, as the football world recognizes one of its all-time greats. Larry Allen, a perennial all-star during his 14 years in the National Football League, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio on Saturday, August 3. Larry is the father of De La Salle student Larry Allen III, who is entering his senior year. Larry is a devoted dad, and volunteers his time and expertise with the De La Salle Spartan football team. 11/13/2013 - Pepperdine men's basketball coach Marty Wilson completed his roster for the upcoming 2013-14 season as he announced the signing of point guard Amadi Udenyi. The 6-foot Udenyi, who hails from Oakland, Calif., graduated from Concord (Calif.) De La Salle High School in 2012. (MORE)
