Hall of Fame
De La Salle High School of Concord, California, today announced new inductees to its Athletic Hall of Fame, and also named its Distinguished Alumnus of the Year. Six student-athletes, two teams, one faithful supporter of Spartan athletics, and the Alumnus of the Year will all be recognized at the Evening of Honor on October 27, 2013, at the school. 6/8/13 - Spartan baseball players A.J. Puckett (35th round) and Hunter Mercado-Hood (38th round) were selected by the Oakland A's in the Major League Baseball's draft.

Bishop John S. Cummins Scholarship Program - Gratitude
In this book, the writers were the sons of families who have severely limited financial means, but who have taken up the opportunity to experience the educational excellence available at De La Salle High School. The letters are straight-from-the-heart thank-you’s to the donors who help to fund the Bishop Cummins Program. (full story)

EBAL Award
5/22/13 - For the 5th consecutive year, De La Salle has captured the EBAL All Sports Award. This award is a collective total of points based on league standings for each sport. (All Sports Award Standings)

College Commitments
2/6/13 - Signing Day. Five players from a defense that keyed De La Salle to an Open Division state football championship signed with four-year schools. Michael Hutchings (USC), Austin Hooper (Stanford), D.J. Moffitt (UNLV), Victor Egu (Yale), and Xavier Banks (Southern Oregon) confirmed their choices. Soccer player Andrew Konstantino also made his commitment to Saint Mary's. The following players previously made their commitments : Lacrosse - Will Montero (Bryant College), Jackson Teague (Mercer College), Jack McCormick(Dartmouth); Swimming - David Morgan (USC); Basketball - Elliott Pitts (Arizona), Mac Hoffman (Army); Baseball - Austin Puckett (Pepperdine), Andrew Buckley (California); Hunter Mercado Hood (University of San Diego), Justin Flatt (UC San Diego), Ray Bartolomucci (Valparaiso); Golf - Justin Pagila (Army).
