12/22/11 - Conner Peters, a former DLS star, fully expected to sign with San Diego State as a midyear transfer early Wednesday morning. But he changed his mind when Boise State - his dream destination all along - offered him a scholarship before the FedEx packet arrived from the Aztecs. (full story)

One such record is the 151-game winning streak compiled by the Concord (California) De La Salle High School football program from 1992 to 2003. 9/22/11 - Air Force linebacker Brady Amack was named the FWAA/Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week. The 6-foot-2, 227-pound senior from De La Salle High and Pleasanton registered 23 tackles (11 unassisted), a sack and two tackles for loss in the Falcons' 35-34 overtime victory at Navy on Saturday.
