5/16/11 - EBAL Swepts NCS Championships
The Foothill High boys golf team won its fourth North Coast Section Tournament of Champions title in six years. Foothill had a five-player score of 384 to top runner-up De La Salle by six shots and repeat as NCS champion. De Los Reyes lead all Spartan golfers with a score of 74.

5/9/11 - Spartans Take 1st Place in NCS Qualifier.
De La Salle had the top five-player team score of 383 on the 6,865-yard course. De La Salle hoped to play well to give EBAL rival Foothill something to ponder. The Falcons earned an automatic berth into the NCS Division I Championship by virtue of their EBAL tournament title.

5/3/11 - The De La Salle Golf Team has had close competitive rounds with Foothill all season, both in league play, as well as in tournaments. On Tuesday, that competition continued in the EBAL Championships in Patterson at Diablo Grande CC; and even though De Los Reyes, Pagilia, and Roberts all shot under par golf, it wasn't enough to overtake the team effort by Foothill, who won 365-370. The Spartans now move on to the NCS Championships.

4/26/11 - The Spartans got back on the winning track after their loss to Foothill last week by beating Amador Valley, 178-198 on Tuesday and remained tied for first place in the EBAL standings with Foothill, winners over Granada. Two "fore" Two
It was a good week for the Spartan golfers, as they won two EBAL contests against California (200-228) and Monte Vista (191-208) to remain undefeated in league play, 7-0, and maintained a tight lead over Foothill and Amador Valley, both at 5-2. De La Salle will travel to Indio for the Champions Invitational on April 8 & 9, at the Terra Largo Golf Course.

De La Salle's 6th man wins match for the Spartans
It's Deja vu all over again. After taking Foothill to limit at the DLS Invitational, needing one more hole to win, the Spartans once again found themselves tied after the first 5 golfers finished. But De La Salle's sixth man proved the difference and once again, the Spartans won by a single stroke.
