What is Grad Night?
Grad Night is an all-night,
drug and alcohol-free celebration for Carondelet and De La Salle High School’s graduating
seniors. Our new Graduates will spend the evening of Sunday, May 23,
and the morning of Monday, May 24 2010 enjoying music, dancing, a wide variety of activities,
a special show, and, of course, lots of food and refreshments. It promises to
be an unforgettable night for our seniors as they spend one last time together
as a class.
Who Sponsors Grad Night?
Grad Night is accomplished
through the energy, time and commitment of the CHS & DLS Parent
Associations who work on behalf of senior parents and the school’s
administration to bring together the class of 2010 for a celebration of their
four years together. Coordinated
with an event planner, it is a party that we, as senior parents, give as a
parting gift to our graduating children.
Who Attends Grad Night?
Traditionally, 98 percent of the graduates attend this
incredible, fun party held at a “secret” event location. Only Carondelet
and De La Salle graduates can attend Grad Night – no friends from other schools
or underclassmen. Grad Night begins the evening after graduation
ceremonies on Sunday, May 23. Students begin check-in at 8:00 p.m. in the Garaventa Center
at Carondelet High School. Students will then be bused to the secret location for the evening festivities. Grad Night 2010 ends Monday morning,
May 24, at 4:00 a.m. in the Hofmann Student Center at De La Salle
High School.
We highly encourage you to drop off and pick up your student so that they will not be driving after being awake all night.
