2024 Spring Union, “Supporting Brothers” Now Available

Concord, Calif. - The spring edition of De La Salle’s Union Magazine is now available on the De La Salle website (dlshs.org/union). 

This latest issue of Union, called Supporting Brothers, delves into De La Salle’s famous “Brotherhood” – what it truly means and how it is lived and embodied daily in (and by) Spartans of every age. HINT: Brotherhood is closely tied to the Lasallian ethos of “Enter to Learn, Leave to Serve.”

Featured stories include a Q&A with De La Salle’s latest alumni to return to the school as employees, as well as a personal get-to-know-you with Assistant Athletic Director & Basketball Head Coach Marcus Schroeder. The issue also features retrospectives of De La Salle’s Kairos retreat program and the school’s Learning Center, as well as a look ahead at what is in store for OnBoard! as De La Salle continues to cultivate a sense of belonging for all students. There are also several alumni stories, including one that showcases the work Jason Price ‘06 is doing for student-athletes through his company NextPlayU, the new Alumni Association Senior Day event, and the many ways that De La Salle’s alumni community volunteer their time to the school. 

De La Salle continues to be a special place because of the many people involved with this magnificent enterprise, and we never take for granted that we move and work on very hallowed grounds.
