5 De La Salle Student-Athletes Commit to Colleges Across California on First Signing Day of the Year

5 De La Salle Student-Athletes Commit to Colleges Across California on First Signing Day of the Year

On Wednesday, November 8, the De La Salle Athletics Department celebrated five student-athletes who announced their college commitments for the 2024-25 school year. The first roster of the year includes two baseball players who were instrumental in De La Salle’s sixth straight NCS Championship, as well as back-to-back CIF NorCal championship wins in 2022 and 2023. Similarly, NLIs have also gone to two golfers who were part of the Spartan CIF State Championship teams during the past two seasons. The list is rounded out by a  water polo player who helped De La Salle’s team capture its third straight EBAL Championship and advance to the NCS Open Division Water Polo Championship game this past season for the third consecutive year.

Congratulations to the following Spartan student-athletes and their families:
Jaden Dumdumaya (golf), University of Southern California
Jack Hayden (golf), Santa Clara
Jay Hubbard (water polo), UC Irvine
RJ Meyn (baseball), Santa Clara
Henry Tripaldi (baseball), San Diego State

The November 8th signing day marked the first of the school year for the De La Salle Athletic program. Additional signings for Spartan student-athletes for the 2023-24 school year will be announced in the coming weeks. Visit the school’s National Signing Day webpage for a complete list of Spartan signees for the Class of 2024, as well as signees from the 2022-23 school year.

The college signing day event, which took place in the Tom and Norine Seeno Gymnasium, was live-streamed, and the recording is available through DeLaSalleTV.com.
