Concord, Calif. – On Wednesday, November 13, the De La Salle Athletics Department celebrated the first five student-athletes to announce their college commitments for the 2025-26 school year. The initial batch of announcements includes the 2024 EBAL Individual Cross Country Champion, the 2024 NCS and NorCal Individual Golf Champion, an All-American lacrosse player, a third-place NCS finisher in wrestling, and an infielder from De La Salle’s 2024 baseball team.

Trey Caldwell (cross country), University of Colorado
Antonio Castro (baseball), Cal Poly San Luis Obispo
Joshua Kim (golf), UCLA
Alexander Ortiz (wrestling), Franklin & Marshall College
Danny Schaeffer (lacrosse), University of Maryland
The November Signing Day marks the first of four National Letter of Intent (NLI) signing days for the De La Salle Athletics program. Additional dates include December 4, 2024, February 5, 2025, and April 16, 2025.
