Graduation

Graduation for our Class of 2025 will be Sunday, May 18  at 9 am at Owen Owens Field.

During the ceremony, students, family, friends, faculty, and staff will hear speeches from the class of 2025 Valedictorian and Salutatorian, as well as  addresses from De La Salle President, David Holquin, and Vice President for Academic, Dr. Heather Alumbaugh.

It seems like only yesterday when the students of the Class of 2025 were welcomed to De La Salle as freshmen. In the blink of an eye, we are now talking about graduation, which is only a few months away.

These young men have spent the past four years growing as men of faith, integrity, and scholarship. They have been educated in the Lasallian tradition and are now in their final stages of preparation to bring their learnings and values to the world beyond high school. We are thankful to share in the education of these young men. It has been a privilege and an awesome responsibility.

In preparation for graduation, we held a mandatory meeting for all parents of graduating seniors on Wednesday, January 22. During this meeting, we presented important information about school policies and graduation activities, while addressing any questions posed by those in attendance. For reference, or for any parents who were unable to attend the meeting, here is a link to the Graduation Slidedeck used at the meeting.

The Graduation Slidedeck includes information about College Responses, Financial Aid & Scholarships, College Decisions, Graduation/Senior Activities, Merit Award Sumbissions, Senior Memory Wall, Senior Ball, and Senior Send Off.

If you have any questions about Graduation or other activities for the Class of 2025, please contact Mr. Spencer Shively at shivelys@dlshs.org.

Senior Memory Wall

In the tradition of Graduation at De La Salle, all families are encouraged to create a photo collage celebrating their graduating senior. These photos will be printed, laminated, and displayed on campus. The page can consist of one picture, several pictures, or a collage of pictures and text. The images can be baby, childhood pictures, or a collection of high school memories from clubs, sports, and other activities. Please keep the final product a surprise and do not share it with your student as part of the fun is enjoying the reactions of the students upon seeing the collages their families have created for them. Here is more information on how to create the collage
