Calling All Budding Filmmakers!

The De La Salle and Carondelet 2023 Film Fest will take place on Friday, March 10 in the Jean Hofmann Center for Innovation from 6:30-8:30 pm.

The Winton Arts Film Fest celebrates the creativity of student filmmakers at De La Salle, Carondelet, and East Bay middle schools. Whether you love making TikToks with your friends, producing original short films, or using animation to make your ideas come to life, everyone is invited to submit their original films to be screened. 

All submissions will be on display at the festival, and the best student media in each category will earn awards and prizes. This year’s event will feature a red-carpet experience, local food trucks, special screenings, and an Oscar-worthy awards show. Up for grabs are $50 Amazon gift cards for each submission category winner, as well as bragging rights – including two special awards “People’s Choice” and “Best in Fest.”

In addition, all students who enter will be given a limited number of “VIP guest tickets.”
