Theatre Company
The De La Salle & Carondelet Theater Company is a student club that strives to create a community between the two school campuses on Winton Drive. It offers students the opportunity to participate in all aspects of theatre production - from acting onstage and directing to lighting, sound, set design, costume design, and stage management.
The club offers a safe and inclusive space where all artists have a home on campus and it encourages students to explore interests in performing and producing shows while building community.
Recent productions have included Anything Goes, The Westing Game, The Little Mermaid Jr., Xanadu, R&J&Z, Godspell, Heathers the Musical, Puffs, and Into the Woods Jr.
Coming in August is our black box production "How the Time Goes By," written by De La Salle junior Derrick Bajada.
Coming in April - Hadestown
Join us in mid-April for Company’s spring production of Hadestown. Opening night for the musical will be April 10. Additional shows will be April 11, 12, 13, 24, 25 & 26. Visit the Hadestown webpage for complete information, including a summary, cast & crew lists, and ticket information.

About Our Black Box Productions
Each year Theatre Company upperclassmen perform in a welcome-back black-box production for our community. Over the summer, cast members work independently on choreography, harmonies, and characterization. At the same time, a few of our Crew Heads guide incoming freshmen and rising sophomores on the fundamentals of technical theatre and meet to ready the stage, learn tool safety, and prepare practical props.
The objective for these productions is for our students to gain the experience needed for our main stage productions later in the year.
When students return to campus in the fall, the cast and crew have two weeks to put it all together. This requires each member to give their best effort and work as a team.
