De La Salle student-athlete, Jaden Dumdumaya ’24, made a clutch 15-foot putt on the 18th Hole at Augusta National on Sunday, before celebrating with his father and mother, to win the 2022 Boys 14-15 Division Drive, Chip, and Putt competition.

The winter sports season for De La Salle High School is coming to an exciting end and includes some great finishes for the Spartans’ basketball, soccer, and wrestling programs. Basketball won the East Bay Athletic League title and will now play in the NorCal Open Division Playoffs, the wrestling program captured EBAL, North Coast Section Dual and Individual championships, and the De La Salle soccer team captured EBAL and NCS championships and will start CIF NorCal Playoffs on Tuesday.
The 2021-22 De La Salle High School fall sports season is officially behind us, and there was a tremendous amount of success for the teams that competed over the past three months. We would like to congratulate the cross country, football, and water polo teams on tremendous seasons this fall. Below are short recaps for each of the sports.
All three of De La Salle’s fall sports will be competing in the North Coast Section championships. The water polo plays in the semifinals on Wednesday, football opens the playoffs on Friday night, and cross country competes in their section championships on November 20th. See below for a quick update for each team as they prepare for postseason play.
Concord, Calif. - On Sunday, October 24, 2021, De La Salle High School inducted the 13th class into its Athletic Hall of Fame. The 2021 De La Salle Athletic Hall of Fame Class includes: Mark Halvorson (wrestling coach), Noah Merl ‘01 (soccer), Travis Pfeifer ‘97 (football), Jason Price ‘06 (track & field), Kevin Simon ‘01 (football), Dan Vinson ‘04 (lacrosse), Brandon Zoetewey ‘05 (wrestling), and the 1994 Football Team.
