Hall of Fame
The tradition of excellence established by our Spartan brothers, both as students and as alumni, continues to grow and deepen. Every year, during our annual De La Salle Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony, we induct a new class of exceptional student-athletes who have grown into even more exceptional men. Each honoree is selected not just for their athletic talent and skill, but also for their work ethic, community involvement, and spirit of brotherhood.
Class of 2024
On October 26, 2024, De La Salle inducted its class of 2024 into its Athletics Hall of Fame. Two-time state basketball championship coach Frank Allocco headlined the distinguished group that included five talented Spartan alumni, two former coaches, and two teams.
The inductees are, Richard “Scooter” Barry ’84 (basketball), Matt Biel ’04 (swimming), Damon Jenkins ’03 (football), Rudy Ramirez ’04 (wrestling), and Clayton Tanner ’06 (baseball), head coaches Frank Allocco (basketball) and Scott Hirsch ’82 (water polo/swimming), and the 2009 Wrestling Team and 2010 Football Team.
As part of the nomination process, each honoree is recognized not only for their athletic achievements, but also for their outstanding academic, and professional accolades, as well as their community involvement.
