All three of De La Salle’s fall sports will be competing in the North Coast Section championships. The water polo plays in the semifinals on Wednesday, football opens the playoffs on Friday night, and cross country competes in their section championships on November 20th. See below for a quick update for each team as they prepare for postseason play.
This past weekend the cross country team competed in the EBAL Championships at Newhall Park, where Oscar Gomez ‘22 captured the individual championship! After a fifth-place finish at the EBAL Championships, the varsity cross country team will compete in the NCS Championships on November 20th at Hayward High School. Click here for details.
The De La Salle football team earned the No. 1 seed in the NCS Open Division Championship and will host James Logan High School on Friday, November 12 at 7 p.m. at Owen Owens Field. Click here to view the NCS Championship Open Division bracket.
The De La Salle water polo team advanced in the NCS Open Division Water Polo Championships with a 10-8 win over San Ramon Valley last week. The Spartans will play in the NCS Open Division semifinals on Wednesday, November 10 against Archie Williams High School at 6:30 p.m. at Redwood HS. With the victory over San Ramon Valley, the Spartans have advanced to next week’s NorCal Championships.
