Basketball

The De La Salle Basketball Program has competed on the state’s biggest stage and has sustained excellence over the past 30 years. Since 1986, the basketball team has won 28 league championships, 14 NCS Championships, six NorCal Championships, and two State Championships. From 1998 to 2013, the basketball team won 16 straight league championships in the BVAL and EBAL. 

The basketball program’s pillars are work ethic, teamwork, and enthusiasm. Many players have embodied these characteristics over the years and have gone on to play at the collegiate and professional levels. There also have been many players who have transitioned into coaching. The De La Salle Basketball coaching tree is prevalent at the NBA, college, and high school levels.
