Cross Country

The De La Salle Cross Country team has existed since the founding of the school. During that time, the Cross Country team has been among the most successful teams in Northern California. 

Spartans have won dozens of invitationals at all levels from frosh-soph to varsity. The team has won 29 league championships, 19 NCS championships, and 2 California state championships. Three Spartans have competed in the National Championship; one of whom finished top-ten. In addition, one Spartan Harrier won the World Championship for under-18 runners.

The Cross Country program prides itself on having grit, being resilient, and having great teammates. One of the mottos of the Cross Country program is “Imua!” which is a Hawaiian battle cry loosely translated as “Go forth and conquer!” Their other motto is, “Enjoy!
