The De La Salle Wrestling Program prides itself on the development of multi-dimensional student-athletes. While demanding the execution of high-level technique as well as the maintenance of excellent physical conditioning, the wrestling program also strives to develop a Spartan mindset that instills the values of industriousness, enthusiasm, risk-taking, and commitment. These qualities help students in the program excel both on and off the mat.

De La Salle Wrestling’s accomplishments are a reflection of the commitment and sacrifices made by the student-athletes, their families, and their coaches. Since 2007, De La Salle Wrestling has been dominant at the league and section levels. The Spartans have won 14 league championships, 14 NCS Dual Team Titles, 12 NCS Tournament Championships, and finished in the top 10 at the California State Meet five times. At NCS Championship Meets, a total of 189 Spartans have earned individual medals, with 67 of those being crowned champions of their respective weight classes. At CIF State Meets, 35 Spartans have earned medals, with two of them being crowned State Champion – an incredible feat considering that California has only one division for wrestling. In addition, 33 Spartans have gone on to wrestle at the collegiate level, with many returning as members of the current coaching staff.
