Register for the High School Placement Test
The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is required for all 9th-grade applicants. The Diocese of Oakland will administer the test through each East Bay Catholic High School on Saturday, January 20, 2024. Applicants must have an application on file at De La Salle to take the test through De La Salle. 

Registration for the HSPT is through the Diocese of Oakland Scholastic Testing Service website. Registration closes on Friday, January 12, 2024. By rule, there is no registration available on January 12th.

If you are planning on taking the exam at a different school, please notify the admissions team by December 8, 2023.

Day of the Exam
Students will be asked to check in at 8:45 a.m. The exam will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will run approximately 2.5 hours.  

Results
Parents will receive a copy of their child's Performance Profile/Student Score Report via email on March 15, 2024 after notification letters have been sent. Please contact the Admissions Office with any questions.
