Campus Life

The life of a De La Salle student involves much more than just time spent in the classroom.

In addition to Service Learning projects and other academic-related activities, we offer students the ability to engage and interact with one another in a variety of ways.

Campus Ministry

The Campus Ministry program at De La Salle is the specialized and focused means by which students, faculty, staff and parents establish and develop a Christian and Lasallian community. The program is responsible for the building of a faith community and gives expression to its identity in every aspect of school life.

Student Support Services

The Student Support Services department works with all students whenever they are needed. These services include academic consultation and referral, peer and family relationship mediation, college and financial aid planning, grief and bereavement facilitation, and substance use and abuse information and referral.

Leadership

The students of De La Salle High School are an integral part of the high school community, and take an active role in deciding its activities and student government priorities. Active in the Catholic, Lasallian traditions of this institution, they constitute a student government to represent students; to promote student morale and interactions; to ensure an active role for students in determining high school student activities and student government policies; to oversee all student clubs and student- related activities; and to safeguard student rights.

Activities and Clubs

Students are encouraged to participate in one of over  60 student-run clubs and activities such as Model U.N., Robotics Club, Ski Club, Trap Shooting Club, Ice Hockey Club, Black Student Union, Hermanos Unidos, and the Japanese Anime/Manga Club.

Dances are held periodically and may include students from Carondelet or other local high schools.

Musicians may sing in Concert Choir or play in the Jazz, Concert or Marching Bands. Those interested in acting may become part of Company, a DLS/CHS ensemble that performs three shows each school year.

With so many activities to choose from, students are sure to find an activity where they can apply their talents and abilities as an integral part of a well-rounded education.
