Brotherhood Fund
The primary mission of the Christian Brothers is to educate students, regardless of their ability to pay for that education.
Currently, more than 30% of our students receive need-based financial aid. While that certainly helps with tuition costs, it doesn't cover many of the things that make the De La Salle experience so special for our young men.
In the spirit of St. John Baptist de La Salle, The Brotherhood Fund was established in 2007 to be a resource for students who receive financial aid, so that they can experience the full richness of the education we offer. Several hundred Spartans received Brotherhood Fund support this past year. This money was used to cover everyday expenses like food, liturgy clothing, prom tickets, Kairos fees, athletic uniforms, specialized calculators for math, and other things that are beyond the ordinary reach of many in our community. It is a lifeline for families who can't afford to meet some of these daily needs.
When you consider contributing to this very important fund, we humbly ask you to keep in mind our Lasallian mission.
Long live the Brotherhood!
