Preach by example, and practice before the eyes of the young what you wish them to accept.
St. John Baptist de La Salle
On the life of St. John Chrysostom [Med 99.2]
Our Campus Ministry department is dedicated to accompanying and guiding students on their life and spiritual journeys through mentorship, leadership development, faith engagement, team building, and community service. It is a very active part of our academic community, and the office takes the Lasallian call to faith, service, and community very seriously.
Throughout each school year, Campus Ministry enhances the faith life of our students through various retreats as well as a plethora of opportunities for worship and prayer. It also runs a series of immersion programs and other activities that are designed to serve those less fortunate as part of the Gospel's call to service. Combined, all of these experiences help build not only a very strong community but also one that is focused on building the Kingdom of God.
In addition, our Lasallian Youth program gives students an opportunity to emulate the life and deeds of our Founder, Saint John Baptist de La Salle.
We strongly encourage you to sign up for our retreats as they fill up fast - especially the Senior Kairos and/or the Father/Son and Parent/Son retreats. Students should also consider participating in one or more of the Ven A Ver (Spanish for "Come and See") immersion programs.
