Our school's oldest fundraiser, the Spartan Charity Challenge, began in 1998 as a way to embrace almsgiving during Lent. Now in its 26th year, the fundraiser calls on students to help and hold up those who are in need. To date, the drive has donated over $247,000 to many worthy causes.
The 2024 Spartan Charity Challenge will take place from February 14th (Ash Wednesday) through March 26th.
During our 2023 Spartan Charity Challenge, the school raised over $8,000 for local, national, and international groups. Last year, the drive was dedicated to supporting the victims of the Turkey/Syria earthquakes, the Lasallian ministries in Eritrea, Africa, the Monument Crisis Center, and the De La Salle Brotherhood Fund, which helps De La Salle students when their families are struggling financially.
