Toy Drive
For over two decades, our school has collected toys for local children in need so that they can wake up on Christmas morning to the joy of opening a gift. Hundreds of toys are delivered each year to local organizations like Running with Love, Oakland Catholic Worker, De La Salle Academy, and Bay Area Crisis Nursery.
Our Toy Drive traditionally starts after our school-wide Thanksgiving Prayer Service and runs through the last day of the fall semester.
2025 De La Salle Toy Drive
In 2024, our annual Toy Drive raised over 1,000 toys and over $3,400 for four wonderful organizations! We were able to give an abundance of toys and monetary donations to De La Salle Academy, Bay Area Crisis Nursery, Catholic Social Worker, and Running with Love! Our students were very motivated to donate after learning that these are some of the only toys that kids might receive on Christmas.
