National Honor Society
Amidst the busyness of life, you continue to be self-visionaries while staying selfless during the most challenging times. You continue to give your time and positive energy to the community. What can I say—your deep love for others is unique, and this love can’t be taught. It comes from you.

The National Honor Society (NHS) is a nationwide organization that the world’s highest achieving students have been proudly adding to their résumés since 1921.
Here at De La Salle High School, our scholarship requirement for NHS is an unweighted cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and our students are expected to have a desire for serving their brothers, our school, and the broader community.
Throughout the year, our NHS students help at school events like Back-to-School Night, and Open House, where they take on the role of De La Salle Ambassadors. They also participate in service activities like our annual Cereal Drive, the After School Program at Monument Crisis Center, and activities at the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano. Lastly, they each donate 8-10 hours a semester to tutoring in our Learning Center.
Each year we celebrate new NHS inductees at a formal Induction Ceremony. It is a sacred time to celebrate their choices and sacrifices. Parents, current NHS members, faculty, and staff are all welcome. This year's ceremony will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024.
